Stuffed French Toast

Since sharing my last blog post, I have been thinking about my experience more at LouVino.  I’d be remiss if I did not mention their stuffed French toast. For those of you who have been to brunch with me you know that I’m a member of the French Toast Mafia.  The second I’m handed a brunch menu I immediately start scanning it for French toast options.

Stuffed French toast is not a regular brunch item so when I see it on a menu, I do get excited.  The anticipation I feel for the combination of textures and flavors makes it a true indulgence. LouVino’s stuffed French toast has vanilla mascarpone, cinnamon, seasonal jam, bourbon maple syrup, and whipped cream.  I really can’t say no to vanilla mascarpone in any situation I’m in.

What stands out to me about LouVino’s stuffed French toast is the precise level of crispiness for the outside of the toast. It was perfect with the creaminess of the vanilla mascarpone.  The bourbon maple syrup can be described in one word: comforting.  Overall, LouVino’s stuffed French toast was memorable and if you read my last blog post it’s probably a good thing it was so delicious!

In addition to having French toast of LouVino, I also experienced French toast at Con Huevos, Puffy Muffin, Wild Eggs, First Watch, Wilder’s Cafe, Highland Morning, Big Bad Breakfast, and House of Marigold in 2023.
