THE MOST ENTHUSIASTIC HOST!

My pretty lady surprised me for my birthday with tickets for a thrilling ride on the Rail Explorers, taking us from Versailles to Lawrenceburg and back on Wednesday.  You may remember last week’s sweltering 94-degree heat.  Despite the heat, there was a nice breeze in some parts, and overall,  the trip was exhilarating!  If you have not experienced the Rail Explorers, check out their site! www.railexplorers.net

When we arrived to check in at Rail Explorers, we were immediately greeted by a bubbly team member who seemed beyond thrilled we were there.  She gave us a brief overview, told us about the restrooms, and suggested we play a round of cornhole before our tour started.  This summer, I plan on participating in a few cornhole tournaments, so it was in my best interest to squeeze in more practice.

We wrapped up corn hole and sat in the shade, waiting for our tour to start.  The lead host (division manager, in fact) welcomed us with a rousing hello and infectious enthusiasm that set the tone for our adventure.  This team member was confident! I could hear it in her voice, which she projected so well. Her energy resonated throughout the group, which looked to be about 25 people.  She was friendly yet firm in her approach to communicating the rules.  I believe in “safety first,” so I was all ears!  Everyone working seemed passionate about Rail Explorers, but she was the MOST passionate, as evidenced by her animated gestures and body language.  Check out my video below!

If you know me personally, you know my excitement at certain times can be off the charts.  And I must admit that her spirited demeanor was so off the charts it made mine seem paltry in comparison.  She had us all fired up!
