a delightful Evening At KPOT

If you’re a regular reader, you know that dining out is not just about the food for me; it’s an experience.  Last night was no different as my pretty lady, and I embarked on a culinary adventure at KPOT Korean BBQ and Hotpot on Hurstbourne Lane. KPOT stands out not only for its flavorful meats and vegetables but also for its modern decor. It truly is an innovative dining experience.

We decided to eat at 5 p.m. to beat the dinner crowd. I highly recommend going early! When we walked in, we noticed the sleek, modern decor. It’s eye-catching but doesn’t take away from the vibrant, cozy ambiance. We appreciate contemporary aesthetics with a welcoming vibe. As soon as we walked in, we could hear the sizzling meats and boiling broths.

If you didn’t already know, KPOT is all you can eat from the menu and buffet!  We cooked lamb, ribeye, and pork belly; both were perfectly marbled. The beef belly was my favorite. It had a delicate taste. The seafood we ordered included crab legs, crawfish, prawns, and mussels.  We could not get enough cucumber kimchi from the buffet!  It was our favorite.  My pretty lady commented that the fried chicken and pickled relish were perfect.  We both ordered Japanese miso soup for our hotpots.  And I have to say the lobster balls were great.  They were savory and oceanic.  We also ordered box choy, shiitake mushrooms, bean sprouts, and crown daisies.  I love my veggies! We enjoyed lychee, mango jello, raspberry sherbet, and a little coffee-flavored cake for dessert.

A highlight of our dinner was the robot servers. They were charming as they easily navigated the restaurant, delivering dishes and collecting used plates. They were entertaining and efficient—like me! I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention our server. She was attentive and had a bubbly personality.

We cannot wait to return to KPOT!  If you’re curious about Korean BBQ or hotpots, KPOT will not disappoint.  And if you don’t like what you ordered at first, order something or hit up the buffet again.  The buffet has French fries, which can be your backup plan.  For 35 bucks, it’s a heck of a deal compared to other Korean BBQ places that cost over a hundred dollars and leave you hungry.  Have you been to KPOT?  Hit me up on IG and leave a comment below.
